Personally, I would check out what the guidelines are in AC, as I know it is different in each state. I can't speak for other properties, or even CET in general, as we play soley at Harrah's. I suppose I should have told hubby it doesn't matter in Nevada (at least at Harrah's properties) as long as our cards are linked. It was so funny, when he was approached by and attendant saying to him, 'Congratulations Susan!' Poor guy.he was fumbling and making excuses about my card being in there instead of his. When they come to the machine, they address him by whatever name they were already told was on the card that was in the machine. Hubby has won several times with my card in the machine (mostly by accident). I don't know about Atlantic City, but in Nevada (Harrah's properties) it doesn't matter, as they allow our cards to be linked together.
They already know who's name is on the card before they come to give you the handpay.
